Blogen.net - a New Social Network

Blogen.net, a new social network and community blogging site has just released its second version. The site combines the features of a social network with its main focus as a blogging platform. Blogen.net enables users to publish blog posts to their personal sites and contribute to the blog community by posting comments and growing their network of friends. They offer easy to use publishing tools for blog authors including a rich WYSIWYG post editor and of course RSS feeds. One of the more interesting tools allows you to search for books, movies, and music. Users can then include images and information on what they are currently reading, watching or listening to in their blog posts. Blogen also offers personal profile pages, friend’s lists, message boards, and photo sharing.
Daniel Zajork, the creator of Blogen, started work on the site out of curiosity for blog and social networking software and has since made the service freely available. Combining his passion for creativity and technology he has created an excellent platform for users to share, connect and blog.
