How to Ping Google

Good news to us bloggers and here’s a reminder in case you are still hibernating out of the blogosphere.

Now we can *ping Google*! It’s a must to ping google if you want to drive more traffic to your blog. By pinging Google, you’ll be able to make sure that your blog content will be indexed by Google faster. There’re a few ways to do that, you can either ping google thru pingomatic or you can add http://blogsearch.google.com/ping/RPC2? to the Update Services in your WordPress Dashboard under Options->Writing.

Well, of course the users that are hosting their blog on wordpress.com will have to use pingomatic though. This simple action of pinging your blog with Google blogsearch will definitely make your blog have better position on Google.
