ZapZap Podcast Directory
November 09, 2006 |

ZapZap is one of the easiest ways to browse popular podcasts, then if you like any you can save them in your browser or save them for later. ZapZap is bilingual, English/Japanese which should please Japanese podcast fans.
ZapZap uses a digg-like rating system that allows you to “zap” a podcast episode that you like. When you zap something two things happen:
- The episode’s zap rating goes up by one, which in turn moves up to the site’s front page. This helps everyone to see at a glance which podcast episodes are popular.
- The podcast episode gets saved in a special list for you to look at later called the Zaplist. You can easily synchronize it with your itunes or other players.
This way you can sync your zaplist to your ipod and have a variety of content within one feed. No need to subscribe to multiple feeds, which can be frustrating to navigate through on a portable media device. There are a number of other features such as Autozap, neat Ajax enabled comments and send-to-friends functions.
