Report on Web 2.0 released by O’Reilly Radar
November 11, 2006 |
If you’re looking for one of the best ways to make your business Web 2.0-compliant or build your idea into a product that’s build on the fundamentals of the “new order,” you might want to visit the O’Reilly Radar, where the so-called founders of Web 2.0 have put together a report that explains everything you need to know about the game in 100 pages.
O’Reilly is well known for its comprehensive publications. Its programming guides have received top honors from people throughout the world. I recently took to experiencing Javascript: The Definitive Guide, and it’s well worth the cash.
The PDF will run you $375 (PDF + Print is $395, License for teams of 5 or more is $729), but in a time when consultants are charging thousands of dollars, a few hundred can seem like a bargain. As people familiar with O’Reilly know quite well, the group doesn’t close itself off completely to those who want to test the waters, so they offer an excerpt (PDF) that will likely convince a purchase out of samplers. One-tenth of the report is available in the sample.
