XONE8 Not for the Timid

Video and social networking company, Two2date Ltd. announced the official release of XONE8, a dating and social networking web site. XONE8 is a free, fun site where meeting others and expressing yourself has been simplified. This highly anticipated launch of the most advanced social networking and dating site will enable users to intuitively find, be found and connect with others. XONE8 makes it incredibly simple to access a web cam to upload and share personal video. The site also launched with a Valentine's contest that allowed the first 160 users the chance to win prizes including Cruises.

The take on this little site is a difficult one to call. The site does have a certain international flavor to it, and I like the open nature of the format. It is a little difficult to believe that people will ever be open enough to post their video and email that blatantly for everyone to see. I saw some that did though and I guess I will never cease to be surprised. There are few if any videos on the site at this time (honestly I did not search like Indiana Jones either) and relatively few people. I suppose this is to be expected though because of the newness of the launch.

I always try to let our readers know what a site or gadget is about and the potential for excellence, I will let you guys decide on this one, if you have the time to explore the dating site. If you live in the USA you had better get your walking shoes on because the largest concentration of gals is in Israel! No I did not look for any guys for you gals! Sorry, but I have to draw the line somewhere. I really think my editor assigned me this one so she would not get in trouble with her husband really.

There is one extremely cool aspect to this site I can tell you about. The world map indicating where all the members live, can be toggled from map to satellite mode and is the coolest thing about the site. The satellite imagery is better than the weather station as you can see! I could almost see those Israeli girls by their pools in Tel Aviv! It is worth checking out if you have time and the wife won't get mad!
