Profy Invites Guest Bloggers

Svetlana Gladkova

This is a very special post for me. I want to thank all of our readers and contributors for being with Profy. Believe it or not, I already know all the MyBlogLog avatars of our loyal readers and I can actually say that I love them all! These have been the greatest six months of my entire life. I've become acquainted with the most brilliants minds in the Web 2.0 world, and I really enjoy switching on my laptop each day and finding my inbox overflowing with emails from people saying how much they enjoy reading Profy.

Today I have a pleasant surprise for those of you who are no longer satisfied to be readers only. If you have an opinion that is not represented on Profy and you would like to express it, I will be happy to hear your ideas of what you might write about for Profy. Currently, I see two ways to expand our community here on Profy:

  • CEO talks. I know that our readers include numerous CEOs and founders of Web 2.0 startups as well as venture capitalists. If you head a Web 2.0 company and feel you have something to share with the world about your company, your experience or the web in general, please know that you are most welcome to use Profy as a platform for your talks. I am certain our readers will be very interested to know your thoughts.
  • Web 2.0 around the world. Don't you sometimes feel that the press would have you believe that Web 2.0 activity is concentrated in Silicon Valley? Personally, I feel that way and I really want to see the situation change. So, if you live in Europe, South America, Africa, Asia or Australia and you know something interesting is going on in Web 2.0 in your country, let the world know by writing about it on Profy.

If you can think of other ways to enhance Profy's content and the community experience here, I want to say again that I will be happy to hear from you. Please feel free to discuss your ideas with me.

If you are a guest blogger, I will write an introduction acknowledging your own blog or your company – whatever you want to make visible by writing for Profy.

I hope this will be a win-win for all of us!
