What makes this fun is that you can tell far more from hearing someone’s message than you can just from reading text, which allows people to show their personality and add more flavor to their messages.
To use the site, you dial the specific country number and record your message. You can send these message updates to certain friends, email them, post them to a website, send them to friends’ phones, or just allow others to listen to them on the home site. If you’d rather do it all through the web, you can send text that will be converted into a voice stream by one of their “robots”, or you can upload an MP3 file.
They have a widget that you can easily add to all of the big social networks out there.
