Custom Profy Reader Version of Particls

Cyndy Aleo-Carreira,

Particls logo imageThanks to Chris Saad, CEO of Particls, we now have a customized version of Particls available there in the sidebar for our readers. This custom version is designed to help you track Profy posts as well as the rest of your feeds and information needs. You can download this custom reader version here.

I'm going to freely admit that I haven't been able to see it myself yet, seeing as I switched over to Mac OS X without Parallels, but Chris assured me that it looks so nice that he's using the Profy version himself.

This version of Particls also highlights Particls' InTouch program, which is a revenue-sharing program for sites who'd also like to provide their own customized version of Particls for their visitors. You can create your very own version of Particls that replicates your site's look and feel, automatically adds your feed to their version, and can help to generate revenue via ads or an ad-free pro version.

There is also an optional opt-in anonymous usage information feed that will be available in the future to help target site content to your visitor's interests. No data will be collected to identify users, but rather, to see where your readers' interests are in addition to your own site stats.

Particls is one of the 2.0 companies I'm really excited about (in case you haven't noticed). As 2.0 evolves more and more into the Semantic Web, Particls is staking a claim as one of the first tools that can really help you manage and prioritize the information you need and use.

  • Great stuff.
I have to say I was a bit reluctant to download something to my computer, but now that I have, I’m finding Particls very useful.
    Thanks!

  • I’m really glad you are enjoying it, Particls (or some future iterations) will definitely eventually become what everyone uses to track all their Internet lives.

Glad you are enjoying it Rusty!

I understand the downloading issue; whenever I hear of “The Next Big Thing” and I realize that it’s something I’m going to have to install instead of using directly on the web, I get a wee bit frustrated. This one is definitely worth it!
