We Still Have 3 iPhones For Our Readers
by
on July 30, 2007,
Here is the update on the status of our Profy iPhone contest. For those of you who have missed it, this summer we at Profy are giving away five iPhones to our readers absolutely for free. The task is rather simple: you write a guest post on the topic of your choice related to Web 2.0 and if your post gets more comments during two weeks after publication than any other post participating in the same round of the contest, you win.
The first iPhone is now on the way to our first winner Kris Ericson, author of the thought-provoking article titled ‘Web 2.0 is Broken and Here's Why'. After Kris is back from his wedding in Europe he will send us some photos of himself with his new iPhone and we will post them on Profy for all of you to see. Submissions to the second round of the contest are now over and we have 4 stories participating in the round:
- ‘Is Google the "Microsoft" of the Internet?' by Mark D'Souza
- ‘How To Web 2.0ize Your Job Search' by Daniel Sweet
- ‘Weaving it together: Web 2.0' by Yogesh Shah
- ‘Ramblings of a Mad Man' by Allan Herman
For the last 3 stories the contest is still under way (the comments are counted for 2 weeks after publication) so support the best (in your opinion) story by commenting on it and helping the author to get the hottest gadget of this summer.
And remember that the iPhone contest is far from over on Profy: we still have 3 rounds ahead and 3 iPhones to give. So start now, write down your thoughts on any aspect of the world of Web 2.0 we discuss here on Profy, send your story to iphone@profy.com and chances are you will be the winner in one of subsequent rounds and you will receive your very own iPhone absolutely for free from Profy. Good luck!
