LongJump Releases Pricing, Adds Application To Suite

Leslie Poston,

longjump logoIn September I told you about a company called LongJump that was creating a fully comprehensive online business and sales application suite for the small to medium business.  They have been in Beta launch ever since, and have amassed over 1500 users to date.  According to company CEO Pankaj Malviya, the application suite has proved to be a hit so far.

If you missed the launch article, LongJump is a business platform and application suite that will allows businesses to fully manage their staff and clients online, with no need for one main office.  LongJump offered a collection of 14 applications when they launched, and have since added a fifteenth as well.  With the ability to handle both back office and front office functions as well as sales, client tracking and more, LongJump aims to be a full solution for your business needs.

When I spoke with Malviya in September, I was impressed with his product.  The product seems to have held up well in Beta testing.  According to Maliya, users that were using LongJump during this free Beta period have decided to switch to LongJump completely for their online business platform.

The second bit of information released today is that they are adding a 15th application, Campaign Manager, which is their first third party application. They also told me they plan to allow other third party applications to integrate with LongJump as time goes on, with the intention of being the most comprehensive online business solution.

Campaign Manager was integrated in tandem with Vertical Response, a partnership that should ensure reliable delivery of email campaigns to the users' client base.  It integrates a point and click template creation system with image uploading, a call back monitor with automatic calendar updates, a list manager, mass emailer, performance tracker, and more.

He is very excited about his product, and has no problem discussing concrete plans for its future, the reasons behind the price structure and the experiences of his users. LongJump is offering a fully comprehensive training program for users who need it, and Maliya was quite proud of the fact that with a 4 to 5 hour learning curve on the platform his users have rarely had to take advantage of that. They also offer a one on one training program, which he says about 20 users have opted for.

He said his intention in to keep his price competitive and keep his platform updated with new functions and applications regularly. He wants to remain competitive in the new online business market, and certainly seems to have the vision to do so.  As far as I can tell by trying out the LongJump Beta, he is standing on a solid platform for success, offering customers a useful and unique web based service.

As a tester I am on LongJump as an individual, which limits my use of some of the group features and staff management features. The features I have been trying, I like, and find them easy to use. I would be very interested in hearing from any Profy readers who have been trying LongJump as a business with multiple users in the comments.  Your feedback will help other Profy readers make an educated decision on whether or not to try LongJump for themselves.
