Yuwie, Social or Pyramid Network
by
on March 03, 2008,
Yuwie, a more sophisticated Yaari? According to Yuwie, they are an online social networking service that allows their members to set up personal profiles for the purpose of linking to friends and sharing information, videos, blogs, and pictures, which it does, as it states, with a twist. Yuwie actually pays you for enticing new members into the fold.
Inside Yuwie
The home page is brilliant in its layout and Yuwie also displays a seemingly continuous flow of new member images and names for incentive. How can one dismiss all the smiling new member images enticing you to enter into their world of social enterprise where everyone is welcome? However, take a look at the ads intermingled with those images. Like any site, marketing is a big business, we all want a piece of the action, and I am no different but I have learned to read the fine print before signing.

Videos
They say one can never judge a book by its cover and so to be fair I decided to investigate the links on Yuwie starting with the Videos link with its vast array of categories. I found the smattering of GET RICH QUICK additives did nothing to distract me as I enjoyed the many video pieces I viewed, although I was disappointed with the slow response time on many.
Shopping
Like to shop, Yuwie has it all, and you get a percentage of the profits they make from your purchases at Yuwie’s, Big Crumbs. As Yuwie states, “When you purchase items from any of these merchants, Yuwie will earn a sales commission. This commission will get pooled with the rest of Yuwie’s revenue and will get paid back to the users each month.” My advice, compare the actual product in-store first before making any commitments. Someone has to pay for those sales commissions and it is not Yuwie.
Clubs
Everything from Automotive, Entertainment and Food, Drink and Wine to Places and Travel, Yuwie has a vast array of options. One that in fact caught my interest was Literature and Arts. Once more, even there I found something for everyone with some individuals explaining the process of how they achieved the effects in the visual works as they pay-it-forward.
Layouts
The vast array of options for your own personal Yuwie’s page layout is seemingly endless. With 29 pages and backgrounds, ranging from Animals, Automotive and Flowers, to Fantasy, Games and Sports, it is bound to be something that tweaks your visual taste buds to give you the feel of being distinct.
Browse Members
Do your tastes in connecting with others fall within a specific gender or age group? Prefer a smoker or non-smoker, married or not married, Yuwie provides the options to pick and choose based on age, body type, gender, race and even income to name a few. Here Yuwie gives a strong impression of being more of a dating service then a social network, something or someone for everyone.
Conclusion
Let us be honest here, despite finding some value, Yuwie is not really about friendships, rather it is about money, plain and simple, and I am not talking about money in YOUR pocket. Yuwie is a fraud cloaked in the guise of social networking just waiting for the next dupe.
As I reflect back on what I learned while delving into Yuwie I am reminded of the words by Neil Pert of Rush in the song, “Something for Nothing”,
You don't get something for nothing
You don't get freedom for free
You won't get wise
With the sleep still in your eyes
No matter what your dreams might be
As Yuwie member Cinta Sakti, so boldly put it, “You're making almost $9,000 a month on your tenth level alone having done nothing but recruited five people you taught to recruit five people and so on.” She goes on to state “You succeed on Yuwie in one easy step: Build your downline!”

Now before you start to analyze when and where you are going to go on vacation with that new founded wealth, you had better re-define that plan, as at most you may be able to afford a hot cup of java and maybe a muffin on the side. Cinta, I noted, was not the mediocre norm on Yuwie but more like the carnivorous wolf as most members were thrilled with their 45 to 50 cent profits as they congratulated each other like small children who have just obtained their first allowance. Unwittingly, it seems, they are the perfect food for the Cinta Sakti’s and Warren Conteras of Yuwie.
As Yuwie states, it is a “Social Network with a twist”. The twist is to entice members to entice others to join and in return, you are rewarded with the option of making big money if you do your homework. Pimp your friends for a dime or in the case of Yuwie, $.00005
At first glimpse, and if you are as sharp as you think you are, you will note that the Yuwie home page is infested with moneymaking opportunities. I see nothing about social networking other than in the logo so they got me on a technicality.
Now take a close look at the membership numbers and the images of the new members. After doing a little internal research, I noted that those new member images are a rotation of existing members and the membership numbers include the existing members joining each other’s network, not fresh meat, as you would think.
Throughout the complete tour of Yuwie, I noted subliminal marketing ploys intermixed with regular social programming, for lack of a better word. The Yuwie forum itself has a perfect example on subliminal entrapment, “ANNOUNCEMENT: Make 75.00 and get 1000 referrals free. This company will help you get 1,000’s of REFERRALS FREE. … talked to a few friends… they have each added 900 to 1,000 referrals within 10 days.”
They say there is a sucker born every second and Yuwie has the majority as I see it.
As Warren Conteras boldly puts it on YuwieScam.com, “I think Yuwie has reached a plateau and now that the low hanging fruit has been harvested, we need a ladder to get the good ones. Not everyone has learned how to do this yet. I noticed I'm doing less on Yuwie, but getting more so my income still went up.”
Note he used the word “harvested”. He (Warren) harvests Yuwie members, which he calls fruit, to sell for profit.
Let's take a look at Warren’s proposed earnings at http://yuwiescam.com/proof1.html. Nice earnings, a good income, but wait, let us take a closer look at the figures.

As an average member your cut is 10% and for 14,645 views you are paid $0.75 Levels one through 7 drop to 4% while levels 8 & 9 pay dividends of 10% and level 10 gives you the big dollars of 30%. If you look at the total stats for 2,561,035 page views you are paid $97.04. Now avera which makes as about much sense as rolling in mud in your best clothes. Factor in your initial time to join Yuwie, set up your personal page and then start contacting friends, family and entice them to join and then have them and other Yuwie members view YOUR page, you can make more money and faster panhandling on the street corner with less time and effort and still have time to socialize.
Yuwie, while having the potential to be something good is equal to a sleazy used car sales representatives' convention. The difference being Yuwie has found the revolving door to personal greed on a grander scale, which in turn allows them to erode the ability of its members to think rationally. When it comes to marketing swindles, Yuwie is a more aggressively refined form of Yaari with a greater ability to blind its members with monetary gain for which only the owner or owners of Yuwie are the true moneymakers. Yuwie has gone to great lengths to hide ownership of its site. Like Amway, Yuwie is fast flooding the market with delusional individuals filled with blind ambitions of making money for nothing without realizing just how much time they have to invest to make that $ .50 to $.75 per 14,645 views as an example. If anyone on Yuwie wants to make some real money, I have some prime farmland in the Kalahari Dessert for sale at a reasonable price. Email me at, yourasucker@ripoff.com for further details.

I started on Yuwie after that I read a very sarcastic article about this little community and I wanted to see with my own eyes.
I becomes surprise.
For an artist like me, the community offer a lot to advertise my self as an artist.
The tools, the possibility to create very personal profiles and blogs and clubs as well.
(I’m club owner for an worldwide artistically club, with many well know musicians and music producers. ) I start with my own fan club etc..
I haven’t been very long time on Yuwie, and believe me, I never had so many visit on my homepage outside Yuwie. .. Yuwie offer a perfect way to advertise and create network, in my case, artist network.
Yuwie is a newbie and the fact that I’m part of it, from the begin, is exiting.
The David and Goliat.
Since I start I have seen how the community develop all the time. Even if so many looks down at this community, they still fight and don’t give up.
The money. Rome was not build in one day.
Yuwie is exactly like an artist. A fighter.
I’m proud to be member of Yuwie.
Best regards
Margaret, artist, photographer, writer and poet (not in English)
If some artist like me, a fighter, want to be part of Yuwie and want to join my artist club, please add me:

To not forgot the friends I found on Yuwie. Wonderful people all around the world. I always like to know people from different parts of the world, to learn, to share ideas, to smile, to communicate.
I know that I can find friends in other communities to, but the reason I want to write about it here, is that Yuwie is not only for advertise. Is a social network as well. Mostly of my time I take to people because the communication with them give me the inspiration to create.
Margareth.
Yuwie sounds like just another multi-level marketing scheme…where the top level member can make some $$$ off the constant desperation of people looking for a quick buck.
I have enough “social” time on the internet with the various forums and social networking sites like Facebook.
Personally I get sick of having advertising pushed at me 24/7 subliminally or otherwise. With the comments in the story about the site and its advertising and “raison d’etre” so to speak…….I won’t be wasting my time even browsing through it.
Url Posted at C4G Forum…
I was thinking of joining Yuwie and saw an article on the web that scared me… this is the conculsi……
it’s strange that there isn’t much neutral or negative publication on the site. that fact alone makes me weary of it. i’d have to say the other factor that is dislike is the owner is from Oklahoma … yea, Oklahoma… the “Big Satan” within the “Bigger Satan.”
anyway - Allan this was an ok whack at something that is obviously so wrong that no one can figure it out… that day will come but I wonder if the media will miss the story but i digress - i was with you till the end when you typed in yourasucker@ripoff.com instead of youreasucker…
sorry guy but there really is a big difference between your and you’re. i’m not complaining, i’m just cringing.
This just goes to show that
Yuwie is the 1st Social Networking Site….
With A Twist !!!
Yuwie.com, one of the Internet’s newest social networking sites, today announced the details behind their innovative and highly successful new online business model. “MySpace and Facebook have already proven how business can make money from the efforts of end-users,” said Korry Rogers, founder and CEO of Yuwie. “Yuwie is proving that both businesses and end-users can finally share the $100 million per month advertising revenue that floods into the social networking market today.”
http://mvrhodes1.blogspot.com/
Forget Yuwie. I have some friends who dumped 100s of hours in design, and time into Yuwie, and got paid 99 cents. Their “downlines” (read:suckers who signed up under them). So for the amount of ads they are showing, and what Yuwie is getting paid for it, they are making hardly nothing.
counterpoint: Oh! But they are making something, you just admited to that!
retort: If I hired you, as a semi-skilled web designer, and offered to pay you 1/2 of 1 cent per hour of your thoughtful hard labor, what whould you say?
But rather than just whine about a place getting super-cut-rate below sweatshop wage labor out of innocent people, let me give you some free advice, about some free things… It’s up to you to put it together right though, and you do need a broadband connection.

Since you mentioned my name specifically, I feel compelled to respond. I’m curious just what you get out of blasting something you know little about, other than the thrill and recognition supplied by other skeptics?
Yuwie is in fact a Social Network just like many others and I would be there even if they didn’t pay me and provide potential to make even more later. I enjoy rubbing shoulders with other like-minded people interested in making money online, because that’s what I’m interested in. If you prefer associating with other nay sayers, I would leave you to your desire until you start stomping on my toes.
It’s true I spend several hours a day on Yuwie, but I enjoy my time there and shouldn’t have to answer to you for spending it however I like. The money is a pure bonus and since it’s already over $500 for doing what I would do anyway, what’s the harm?
There is NO WAY you can call this a fraud, there is no money being spent by anyone but the advertisers and they do it willingly. AND I’m in no way an innocent victim, I new exactly what I was getting into and would do it again in a heartbeat.
Kory Rodgers makes no attempt to hide his identity and openly participates both on Yuwie and several online radio shows about Yuwie. Maybe you should get your facts straight before coming out in public to make an ass of yourself.
Warren,
I would like to thank you for your comments and feel I should point out that I did not make you out to be a victim. Rather I look at you as a slick con artist and I openly stand by that remark based on information gleaned in my research including your web site. I may be as you say, an ass, but at least I am an honest one. And you…?
“As Warren Conteras boldly puts it on YuwieScam.com, “I think Yuwie has reached a plateau and now that the low hanging fruit has been harvested, we need a ladder to get the good ones. Not everyone has learned how to do this yet. I noticed I’m doing less on Yuwie, but getting more so my income still went up.”
Note he used the word “harvested”. He (Warren) harvests Yuwie members, which he calls fruit, to sell for profit.”
It sounded to me like you felt everyone that got sucked in was a victim. How can I be a con man if there is no money involved? The referrence to low hanging fruit is only an analogy, not meant to degrade anyone. I am completely honest and disclose everything on my site, so what’s the beef? People can join or not, it doesn’t matter to me since I don’t have any Yuwie referral links on the site at all. If I were trying to con or harvest someone, wouldn’t that be a given?
The reason I am doing less and getting more is a simple matter of leverage, not because I cheated anyone. In fact I help people more than I take advantage of them. You do realize anyone can quit anytime they decide to, but they don’t because it has value. Your myopic attitude is all that keeps you from seeing that on your own.
Hello, I have created a blog i think you and your friends may like to see, it proves 100% the real yuwie scammers,if nothing else it will give people something to think about before they join yuwie.
http://dmdsigns2.blogspot.com/
Seems to me, like there are 2 kinds of Yuwie users. Those who have put in alot of time (and time is money) who got in too late, and aren’t making a schilling with Yuwie…
And then the Yuwietologists, yes, the Scientology mindset exists on Yuwie! Doing everything they can to defend their point of view, including spamming links to pages where they just pretty much flop over to the pro-yuwie side of things, and have a link to sign up under them on Yuwie.
For instance “D messenger” … he set up a blog site, just as a bouncer to Yuwie. Probably a form letter too. So in essence, he is spamming on one site, to go see his spam on another site, to then be a sucker, and get in under him in the Yuwie pyramid.
Time IS money, ask any real businessman.
I am your digital Xenu Yuwitologists. Beware, a new Anonymous may arise!
The reason i did what i did with my blog was because Im discusted with people putting down yuwie when they have no idea how it works, its not fair to tell someone something is a scam or skeem when it is not.
thats just plain bull,Yuwie is a great site not just for cash.I have met alot of great friends willing to help with almost anything for the fun of it.why would anyone in there right mind want to discurage some one from something like that. i had no idea about anything internet related untill i joined yuwie at least now i have some
idea of what im doing.as far as dumping my link if i was doing it to get refs i would of used my refural link not my blog ,I have the right to try and combat the lies you push as much as you have the right to say what you like. The people that shoot down yuwie are the real scammers ,why do you feel you have to protect people from something that can only help them, just because you dont know how something works dose not meen it dont work. as far as real businesman goes i own a few very sucsessful companys.
Dmessenger said: “as far as dumping my link if i was doing it to get refs i would of used my refural link not my blog ,I have the right to try and combat the lies you push as much as you have the right to say what you like. ”
Ummm, Yuwie IS a blogsite, so why didn’t your link point to your blog there, instead of another host?
Dmessenger continued: The people that shoot down yuwie are the real scammers ,why do you feel you have to protect people from something that can only help them, just because you dont know how something works dose not meen it dont work. as far as real businesman goes i own a few very sucsessful companys.
1. Nothing to gain, other than a clear conscience, by recommending freeware and free services so people can make more money hosting their own blogs.
2. Oh, but I do know how it works. I have been watching someone else work her little heart out for 99 cents on Yuwie. Meanwhile, for about the same amount of work, Google Ad-Sense and Referrals have made her over $400.00 (Using Janaserver and the other stuff I recommended on my blog (click my nick)). Not only that, but over the next 2 months, it will probably make the same amount, perhaps more, if she didn’t put one more lick of work into it.
3. What companies?
It can’t be done?
HOGWASH!
The real truth is the world is full of people who will stand outside the door of a convention hall on a soapbox preaching to a small group of other losers on why it can’t be done, while thousands of those who are doing it are inside brainstorming how they can do it better. (like on my Yuwie Blog)
There is no better classic example of this than Multi-Level Marketing. Would you rather listen to someone who demonstrates with numbers that it’s a mathematical impossibility, or another who is successfully working on systems to become part of the 2% that bring in serious incomes?
The absolute facts are that their own personal failure doesn’t give anyone the right to say something can’t be done! It’s EASY to fail and requires no effort at all, but the true champions consistently refuses to take that path under seemingly insurmountable odds to go on to prove they have what it takes to achieve on a daily basis . Even though the path may be steep, which side would you rather be on when the final results are tallied?
There’s an old saying that has guided me well over the years, “Can’t stood on a hill and froze to death”. It never ceases to amaze me how many people I say that to, don’t catch on until you explain it to them. In other words, don’t interrupt me with reasons it can’t be done while I am busy doing it! Life is full of opportunities, the ones you miss aren’t gone, they just get seized by someone else. That doesn’t mean they were any less of an opportunity, does it?
I think Yuwie is the kind of opportunity that can be easily overlooked. It may seem like picking up microscopic fractions of a penny for a page view is wasting time and effort and that would be true if you had to do it all alone. But having the potential to create a huge team of team builders to help each other by picking up just a few each, can swell the numbers to astronomical proportions.
So what about the argument that the world will run out of people before you can do it? Keep telling yourself that while I enlist the help of a few thousand more each month. It’s all a matter of educating a few at a time and putting then on your team. You can even pick from the ones who have fallen down before and show them what you.re doing, so they can have hope again too.
The rest of the story is you can then use the skills and contacts you made by doing this, to populate other teams that pay even better like the page linked to my name above does. There’s no end to opportunity! While one lives out it’s useful life, another is being born. Every time an existing opportunity gets bogged down by those who say it’s dead, it opens a new door for those who want to find new ways to make it work.
So what do you say?
Can I get back to doing it now?
Hay Zahod, The reason i didnt put the link to yuwie in my post was because , like i said in my post im not here
to get refs only to let people know who the real scammers are and prove it realy dose work and its a lot of fun.
why would i want a blog like that on yuwie theres no reason for that and it would be a sneeky trick to get some one to my site, I dont need sneeky tricks.{you would love to rip me up for that}
As far as you knowing how it works, you dont have a clue if you did you wouldnt have a reason to shoot it down.
If your friend would like id be more than happy to share all my info to help her become a sucsesful yuwie member thats what yuwie is all about. ask her to visit -373003.

REAL DEAL NEWS and im always looking for more.
If you tell someone yuwie is a scam your calling me and over 500,000 others scammers.
Allen, I gotta say, awesome job at bringing the conflict.
Warren, let’s break this down. Fine, you say Yuwie works for you. The problem of affiliate marketing in all of it’s forms, from Amway to Yuwie, is that there is a finite number of people you can add downstream. If you get every single person online to sign up, what happens to the people on the bottom tier? How do they make money when there is no one left to sign up? It’s a revenue model that can’t ever be sustained, and yet company after company always sets it up. Some people will always be in the bottom tier making no money.
Cyndy you have a valid argument mathematically, but in real life it never works that pure so the opportunity is there and always will be. How else could the program linked from my name above stay around for eight years and still grow every day. Sure there are hundreds that quit every week and hundreds more that never make any money, but the number of people like myself that can show you how to come closer to that ideal the model presents are very few, so running out will take a LONG time. In the meantime, I don’t mind makinng a few bucks, how about you?
d messenger said: If you tell someone yuwie is a scam your calling me and over 500,000 others scammers.
It’s funny, I never did say “scam” once in my posts, except where you were beign quoted by me.
What makes you think I was calling Yuwie a “scam”? (there, I used it) Is there some subconscious bit of you screaming to get out? Id on the loose in there?
All I meant to imply is, that Yuwie is unprofitable on a time/money basis for the average user, especially those getting in this late. That more money can be made running your own server, or even putting up a site on your ISP’s free server, and displaying ads from google or any of the other fine adlinkers. I mean, why take the advertising money second hand? Think about it, Yuwie has to make at least so much to stay afloat, and I am happy to see they are sharing some, albeit very little (and there is very little to be had), of the left-over capital.
Please quit accusing me of demeaning another company. I may disagree with their business model, but at least it’s up-front.
Warren, the opportunity is also there for me to become President of the United States. Doesn’t mean it’s ever going to happen.
hay Zaphod, Im sorry for that comment i realy didnt mean it to be fired right at you i ment in general to anyonre
calling yuwie a scam i will be more carefull with my posts thanks for pointing that out agian i apoligize
Hey Cyndy… ya got my vote!
(Can’t be much worse than the 3 stooges we have running)
Zap!
Warren…I applaud your responses to this Blog post. You have stated your points well and I can see that you’ve actually done your research on the subject with an open mind.
You have presented your findings honestly on your web site yuwiescam dot com, however this world is full of negative people that can only see things from a negative viewpoint and no amount of reason will shake them from their belief.
I know what I’m going to do and it’s what I’d recommend everyone reading this Blog do and that is take the time to evaluate Yuwie for myself with an open mind and stop listening to the negative people in this world.
Vic
Yes, guess I am a Supressive Person.
I wouldn’t want any of your to Out-tech from Yuwie.
Why do all Yuwitologists sound like this guy?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gE3Y4JwJ0jM
I’ve been using Yuwie for a little while now and I’ve quickly realized that you need an army of a referral tree to make the big bucks. The good news though is the amount of users is no where near that of say Myspase so there’s still a lot of room left.
Now I’m coming from the angle that I want to make good cash from Yuwie, plain and simple, not a lot of people will achieve this with Yuwie, but I want to be one of the few that does.
But if that fails and I’m sure it will, in the end I will have earned some pocket cash each month plus be involved in a social network that is very active and has some great features.
There really is no loss in using Yuwie, it’s just like Myspace, a social network for you an your friends, at least Yuwie’s trying to share what they earn with the users, unlike myspace.
It’s not a scam as there’s nothing to loose. You talk about time invested, well I can waste just as much time on any other social network and achieve the same results, except with Yuwie I’ll get some cash for my troubles, every little bit helps you know.
You are right Rand I see no loss in using Yuwie in place of MySpace but if you’re after the really big bucks you need to join Wowzza. Wowzza is basically a paid FaceBook with a great comp. plan. Enter with my link and I’ll personally help you get referrals in both. That’s a promise. No cost at all to check it out and you even have 30 days to get a full refund after you pay if you decide it’s not for you.

Vic
Sorry, to much risk involved in that one, I never plan on spending money to make money online ever, well at least until I’m making enough to test some adwords campaigns out.
And I still maintain, that more money could be had by running your own website. However, I agree with Rand this time.
And, uh, there are a couple of places where one can actually spend money, to make money online, but you can loose money too. https://us.etrade.com/e/t/home is one such place. But like any other venture, someone has to loose money, for you to make money… but if you are good, they get something in exchange for thier lost money ( adsense advertising exposure in my case ).
hi im a friend of zaphs. .unfortunatly im a person on yuwie lol. i worked it for 14 to 16 hours a day and i have made a total of lol 51 cents for 5 months work thats working it every day 6 days a week. i figure ill have 1.00$ in a years time lmfao.. but i aint giving up. i like yuwie simply because i can advertise my website http://www.bestdigitallistings.com
