Thanks for trying FuseCal and writing about us, Cyndy.

Yes, we're definitely in Alpha mode, and we know that we have a lot of work to do. We're definitely listening, and feedback like this will help us shape up the app. I think you'll be quite pleased when you see the Beta.

One thing I'd like to make explicitly clear is that we offer the ability to pull events straight from regular websites... not just iCal feeds. *Any* user can paste the URL of *any* web calendar... for instance, a MySpace events page... and get a live feed of those events in their personal calendar. Most of our effort has been going into our proprietary information extraction/AI technology, and we consider it to be our killer feature.

On the UI end, we absolutely need to add a message confirming that feedback has gone through... it's definitely working! It also sounds like we might need to make that calendar delete button more obvious. Small things, but they add up!

The update emails are a challenge, because we can't anticipate everyone's needs... currently we do send an email for every changed event, but clearly that can result in an unruly mess of emails. This is something we're hoping to address in a very near release, and we'd appreciate any thoughts you have about what information those emails should contain, etc.

Thanks again for checking us out and for your feedback!

cheers,

I like what it promises to do, but yeah it sounds like it still needs a lot of work.

I hate those services that don't have a delete button. That's just wrong in so many ways.

What's up with no confirmation? Are they ok over at FuseCal? Seems like they're really messing up on the things you REALLY need to work. Do you think they did this intentionally? It sounds suspicious to me.
