One of the people on my must-read Twitter follow list posted a link to a site called GlobMe earlier today in response to the deluge of tweeted complaints that followed a day spent looking at the Fail Whale as well as the lack of a reply tab in recent days. Heck, even the Twitter powers-that-be were recommending users try to interface with Twitter through Summize for a while - hardly trust inspiring behavior from a company. |

It brings a tear of joy to my eye to think that a website is taking steps to become grammatically proper. Listen, we English majors have to find satisfaction somewhere, right? Facebook is working on a way to make grammar significantly more consistent. |

I'm not talking about the tech blogosphere, who've shown a decided preference for infighting and attempting to eat their young. I'm talking about parents. |

Shel vs. Loren (and puppet). TechCrunch50 vs. DEMO. Mike Arrington vs. Pete Cashmore (and, well, pretty much everyone). We've all seen the constant battle of words in the blogosphere, but the real question is why these altercations come up at all. |

Earlier today I got to participate in the first ever Twebinar with Chris Brogan, Radian6 and other social media heavy hitters. I must say it was one of the more informative hours I've spent in quite some time. It wasn't so much that the social media thought leaders were saying anything new, it was more the conversations centered around the Twebinar on Twitter and Summize. |

We see a lot of different approaches to becoming unique in social media. This is one of those moves that I'm just not sure what I think about it yet. Multiply, a reasonably large social network directed towards adults, is now offering premium storage for photos and videos for the price of $19.95 annually. |

Twitter may be the darling of the social media set right now and the addiction of many both in and out of social media circles, but it has certainly been going through some growing pains lately. Because of this, Twitter users have had to seek ways around the Twitter issues to make sure they don't lose the thread of their conversations. |

Though it's been some time coming, Twitter has finally revealed its private funding sources. With the latest boost in funding, the Twitter team should be able to deliver on its promise to the community to boost support for the platform across the board. |
