Tools To Life is a startup (launched in January 2007 and currently in beta 2.0 stage) that is intended to provide its users with tools for self-improvement in various areas of life. Members of the site are offered professional self-improvement programs and are also able to enjoy the support of the community that should help them reach their goals. What’s more, the users are offered to blog right on the site about their achievements (or failures) and hopefully inspire other members with their successes.
Today the startup announces its new program – Start Living Green Tools that is intended to educate everyone about the basics of green living in an interactive web-based manner that is easy to understand and remember.
Of course it is easier to simply donate some money from time to time to help people actually trying to make the changeand reach some environmentally-oriented goals. But I believe that if we actually care about the world we live in, everyone should start to change oneself step-by-step to achieve the lifestyle that does not damage our planet (or at least causes minimum damage). So if you are already willing to make some changes in your life but are not quite sure where to start, I think the new program at the Tools To Life may be a very good solution that has all the changes of giving you the guidance you need and will allow you to share your experience and concerns with like-minded members of this community.
The new Start Living Green program basically is an interactive guide created by a green home builder from Austin, Texas (reported to be one of the greenest city in the US) who shares her knowledge for everyone to be able to live a more eco-friendly life without having to drastically change the lifestyle. The knowledge and tips are delivered in the form of a daily podcast where you get your daily share of the tips that you will be able to start using immediately in your day-to-day life. The multimedia materials are also accompanied by further reading materials and exercises.
This is a 11-days program that promises to help everyone change their lifestyle into a more environmentally conscious one when completed.
In the future Tools To Life also promises to add further programs, including one for those willing to quit smoking and seeking advice and help. This definitely sounds like a community worth joining if you feel that your life is not actually 100% perfect.
