Zoho Enhances Sheet with Visual Basic Macros Recording

Zoho online office suite logoOne of the most comprehensive web-based office suites Zoho is having an interesting new feature introduced today to its Zoho Sheet spreadsheet product, as reported by CenterNetworks. This new feature allows all the users to record a Visual Basic macros for the spreadsheet same as we can now do in Microsoft Excel only. The company claims that no other web-based office suite provides this functionality.

Actually using a macros has been possible on Zoho Sheet for some time now but it required coding in Visual Basic. Today the functionality becomes 100% user-friendly because recording of a macros does not require any coding skills any more. All you have to do is initiate recording of a macros and perform all the actions you want the macros to perform for you in the future. When finished, you simply click the stop button. Zoho will generate the code for you and you will be able to reuse the macros on other sheets of the same spreadsheet or in other spreadsheets as well.

The video below demonstrates how easy it is to create a macros for a spreadsheet with Zoho and reuse it later for your future work. I am sure I will not be the only one impressed with the performance of this new feature.
