Traditional Thank You to Profy Sponsors
November 24, 2008 |
This is our traditional post to thank the great companies that have chosen to support Profy by becoming our sponsors. I am very glad there are companies willing to support bloggers and our voices and opinions. I am also very grateful to Profy readers who often send me emails and direct messages via social networks saying that they like some of the ads on Profy and fully understand the fact that a blog needs sponsors and advertisers to support us.
The most inspiring comment was from one of the readers who said that he was very willing to connect with the brands that choose to advertise on his favorite blogs more willingly because he knows these brands do something good for him to enjoy the content these blogs create. Such comments really help me believe we are actually doing something useful in this online world. So here are the companies that have chosen to support Profy:
ThemeForest is an Envato Marketplace. At ThemeForest you can buy and sell site templates and themes to skin popular CMS and blogging tools like WordPress, Drupal and Joomla. Prices start from as low as five dollars, based on the complexity, quality and intended use of the file. Anyone is free to sign up for an account and begin trading or purchasing themes and templates.
CloudContacts is a startup that is intended to help you actually use all the business cards you collect at industry events and conferences. If you have a pile of business cards you never (or rarely) use, CloudContacts will put all the contacts in a very friendly web-based interface for you to access them any time – every time you need to talk to a person you met at that last event. Prices from as low as $30.
Also I would like to thank Technorati Media for handling our CPM advertising. I will certainly be looking forward to hearing from other companies willing to showcase their brands to our loyal audience at s.gladkova@profy.com – sponsoring Profy is an affordable and efficient (as our sponsors enjoy impressive click through rates) way to reach technology professionals with your message and I will be happy to provide details on request.
