Apple Black Friday US Deals Official as Online Store Is Back Live

A few hours ago bloggers noticed that Apple’s US online store was down and the obvious conclusion was that it was to prepare for Black Friday sale. Bloggers were pretty certain about what we should expect Apple to offer for Black Friday in the US after the international online stores showed absolutely similar discounts.

Now that the US online store is back online, the discounts in the US can be confirmed as nothing really special and looking very much the same like what Apple offered for the Black Friday last year. So anyone who has already waken up and is planning to make the best purchase of the year online instead of waiting in the crowd in a brick and mortar Apple store can rush to the special page listing all the deals Apple offered for the Black Friday.

Nothing fantastic here in my opinion and definitely no rumored 15% discounts on everything. But anyway if you are planning to purchase iMac or MacBook, you must be more or less enthusiastic about $100 discount on mid-to-high end computers with entry-level models $50 cheaper as well. For example, this means that you will pay $1,198 for a new 13-inch MacBook while for 20-inch iMac you will pay $1,148.

Some discounts are also available for entertainment gadgets today as well: iPod Nano (8 GB) is $11 cheaper while both iPod Classic and iPod Touch are sold with $21 discount. But unfortunately for iPhone fans willing to buy a new phone or another one as a gift, Apple does not offer any discounts on the famous phone so you will have to rest content with some discounted iPhone accessories.

Gizmodo has also found some great deals on third-party products available in Apple Store, including Microsoft Office 2008 Special Media Edition with $250.00 discount (sold for $249.95 today) and Sanyo Xacti VPC-E2 waterproof camcorder with $201.95 discount (it is more than half of its regular price which brings today’s price to $198).
