Artiklz Starts Private Beta Testing of Conversation Search, We Have Invites

Svetlana Gladkova,

Artiklz blog commenting toolI have already written about Artiklz - an awesome company that allows blog owners to grab comments on their content from various social media sites and place them right below the posts they are related to, exactly where you’d expect such comments to appear. I have been watching closely their efforts in the field of consolidating conversations around blog content taking place elsewhere.

Today the team is releasing significant improvements to the product that I thought were worth sharing here. The new features launched today are intended for bloggers to better handle their content and the conversation around it.

First of all, the team has introduced the functionality to claim your blog to prove that you are actually the owner of this blog. The verified ownership of the blog will allow a blogger to use additional tools like the widget to display comments from around social media sites like Digg or FriendFeed right below your own blog posts. You will also be able to install and configure additional plugins by Artiklz on your blog.

One of them is intended for your blog to ping Artiklz instantly when it is updated with a new post or a new comment on a post - so that they could distribute the information to those people tracking your blog or comments on your particular blog post. Another plugin is CommensOnTheGo, the tool that allows users to reply to comments they are interested in right from the new comments notifications they get by email or on their mobile device.

But the best news from Artiklz is that the team has finally started to let people in on their new Conversation Search that allows any user to track conversations on any particular topic across the blogosphere and social media sites. I think no one will argue now that often conversations happening in the comments on blog posts - be it in the comment section on the blog itself or on FriendFeed - are more interesting and more informative than what you would get from the blog posts themselves. So it is obviously good to see Artiklz building a comprehensive solution to handle everything related to blog comments.

Now that the team is starting with the private beta testing, Profy readers are invited to join and see what Artiklz has to offer for themselves - just use this link to grab your invite (we have 500 of them so there should be enough). If you are eager to see what the future of the conversation search will look like before anyone else, this might be just the right opportunity for you.

On a side note Artiklz has also been selected as one of the finalists in the Mashable Open Web Awards and I am more than happy to congratulate the team on this success and recognition of their approach to handling the social media conversations.
