Google Is a Religion and All Online Businesses are Faithful

It is quite obvious that in the online world Google has become a true religion with so many worshippers that it is amazing. I am thinking of this from the side of the web business who wants to find favor in the eyes of God (the search engines and Google in particular as the largest one). At TripCart, we followed a simple 10 step plan to accepting the Google religion.
1. Accept the fact that there is a supreme being - the Search Engine.
2. Without admitting to any beliefs, decide if you need the supreme being to attain your goals - Lots of Traffic.
3. For reasons driven by fear and awe - chose which search engine will be your deity - the right answer is Google.
4. Accept that you will never fully understand how Google dispenses rewards and punishment.
5. Understand that you will never be able to communicate directly with the supreme being - at least until you are dead - or were given a massive penalty.
6. Find out how others are worshiping the supreme being and do the same. These people are called SEO experts.
7. Beware of charlatans in the name of religion - there are many SEO experts that are expert mainly at extracting money from you.
8. Understand that the supreme being is a kind, compassionate and loving one who will reward you for doing good.
9. Understand as well that the supreme being is omnipresent. If you try some trick, hoping SHE is not looking - you will get caught.
10. Get into a religious routine - repeat what you feel works and makes you happy. Repeat “religiously” and try to understand or at least convince yourself you are enlightened enough to understand.
In general, don’t get into any fights with people who are followers of another (or no) religion. Your choice of religion is best and you have the traffic to prove it.
