I think it’s safe to say, I can consider myself a bit of a Web 2.0 geek now. I’ve been working at Profy for the past couple of months, and three weeks ago I was interviewed by the BBC who wanted to do an interview with me on BBC Radio Five Live, about my experiences blogging, and they wanted my opinion on Web 2.0. I explained exactly what I did (blogging about Web 2.0, gadgets, technology, the computers and the internet), [...] |

Is it possible to have a blog and have no idea on what Technorati is? I doubt it. It shows a quick brief of what people on the net are searching for and what topics are hot in the blogosphere. Technorati searches the blogosphere regularly, showing the most recent posts and links on the [...] |

But what on earth were Break thinking, when they announced that they’d pay up to $2,000 for a short video clip? The site, formerly Big-Boys, is indeed offering to pay users incredible sums of money, just to upload simple shorts. No experience needed! |

Some say Web 2.0 doesn’t have a definition. I disagree. But what the hell is it? The point of this article is to explore just that, and lay the finger on precisely what Web 2.0 is. It’s one thing to write about a subject, but it generally helps to know what you’re writing about! I hope this helps. |

MySpace. It’s a very large company, but pinning an interview down on a single individual took time. I had to pick someone interesting. I finally decided upon Jon Merz. He’s a writer for MySpace, but not just any old writer. Jon was the first ever hired by the company, and I’m pleased to reveal this interview with him. |
Google MySpace - Search Domination

Not that long ago I wrote a post about several changes that were going on at MySpace. Apparently, the Google search bit of my post turned out to be correct, with the website now completely Googlized in the search area. With the $900 million search advertising deal now coming into effect, both sides are feeling the profits roll in. The Differences? |

Yahoo! is losing its way, claim many top names in the land of Web 2.0 according to Michael Arrington, from widely acclaimed blog, TechCrunch. The claim came after Yahoo! TV relaunched, just the other day. I reported on it for Profy and many people (inlcuding an angry commenter on Profy) had things to say about the new revamped service, which weren’t all smiles! The former head of Yahoo Entertainment, Mr Erick Schwartz even put his foot into the fray, writing [...] |
