Today AOL is announcing launch of two more niche websites - Lemondrop for women and PopEater about pop culture. Since last year AOL launched over 20 websites focused on various topics popular among internet users and these two is the latest addition to solidify the success AOL is reporting for the programming sites. |

You thought for people to call you an A-lister you will have to work hard and build your blog into a noticeable name? Honestly, I used to share your opinion but that has changed today when I found out that to become an A-lister you can simply join a new blog network called exactly “A-List Bloggers Network”. That’s it, no more hard work involved, really. |

It seems that recently the problem with embargoes and breaking them has grown acute again. I for one have seen at least 3 embargoes broken this week only and I can imagine there are others where I am simply unaware of the embargo time. |

There’s a very interesting post on CenterNetworks today full of righteous indignation against Alexa and the way it has recently lowered rankings for numerous blogs. In fact, I have noticed that myself for Profy but decided not to bother because we have never relied on Alexa to measure our traffic. |

We do seem to be talking too much about women in technology lately but given the latest Playboy poll and the BlogHer conference I think it is not surprising. So ReadWriteWeb came up with a list of favorite female bloggers compiled by its bloggers. Obviously, it was a pleasure to have two Profy bloggers included in the list.
