As I believe everyone has heard already, Google has introduced a browser of its own - named Chrome. Yesterday the blogosphere was abuzz about the comic book Google distributed to share its vision for a web browser (by the way, I have not seen such long threads on Techmeme for a long time now). |

Facebook fatigue. Have you heard the phrase? Are you suffering from it? Where once I logged into Facebook first thing every morning to check status updates and new links from tech-minded friends, I can't tell you the last time I logged in. And I no longer seem to get friend requests, although I regularly find adds on FriendFeed and LinkedIn. |

Much has been made of the early adopters vs. middle America argument when it comes to much of Web 2.0 technology. And while everyone likes the "cool factor" of being part of the first tribe to have adopted a product or app, we all know that reality dictates more widespread adoption for a company to succeed. |

Eric Rice posed an interesting theory last week, asking if social web early adopters have psychological disorders. My initial knee-jerk reaction was to be offended. As someone who's been wanting a plug in my head for accessing the Web since I first read Neuromancer, I thought of early adopters as eager to get to that next step in the technology progression. |
