Zoho Releases Updated Writer, Enabling Offline Document Editing

Zoho, a company responsible for the creation of one of the finest Web-based software suites in existence, today unveiled a much-anticipated update to its word processor.
While a previous iteration of the utility enabled the user the option to read documents while not connected to a broadband service, courtesy of Google’s Gears plug-in, Zoho’s new release of Writer allows for total offline access.

Creators Of YouLicense Launch Free 24-Hour Music Video Channel

Late last spring we brought you word of the debut of an online venue called YouLicense, which provided place for independent music creators to license their tracks and clips to those who, well, wish to license music, whether it be for a marketing or commercial purpose, or any other purpose, really. Mark Cuban’s Magnolia Subpoenas Google

Mark Cuban’s making headlines again, and the news has nothing to do with his pet project, HDNet, or his basketball team. Butt it’s got lots to do with the independent and foreign film company Magnolia he co-owns with Todd Wagner. Standing behind Magnolia, Cuban is subpoenaing Google to gather knowledge about individuals responsible for posting content owned by the 2929 Entertainment holdee (and without its consent, obviously) on YouTube.
