IMO.im , which happens to be founded and advised by several ex-Googlers, is a web based instant messaging that allows users to instant message other friends on AIM, MSN Messenger, Google Talk, and Yahoo Messenger. Users who happen to be registered with more than one of these free IM services have the innovative ability to link these accounts through IMO.im, so that logging into this service then logs them into all of their clients simultaneously. |

Today, MySpace and Skype are set to announce a partnership that will bring interoperability between the instant messaging clients of both services, as revealed at Webware. This will of course mean the introduction of free voice calling to any MySpace user through the VoIP service, and also free calls between a Skype user and a MySpace user. In addition, users will be able to link their MySpace profiles and photos or avatars to their accounts on Skype. |

Today we received news that the folks behind Meebo, the very popular Web-based IM client, released an updated website for iPhone users to enjoy. While the company did in fact announce an iPhone-friendly version of its instant messaging client shortly after the official debut of Apple’s handheld, the update is being regarded by numerous bloggers as the development that should’ve been made available from the start. |

Meebo, everyone’s favorite Web 2.0 Instant Messaging client just got better this week. For those not familiar with this lovely service, Meebo is a free Web based instant messaging client that combines the most popular IM services (eg. Yahoo, MSN, ICQ, GTalk etc), making them all accessible from a single location. |
