I seem to be developing a specialty here writing about online polling sites. The latest entrant into the space is SubmitYourVote, a new social polling site with a very pretty interface.

I know what you're thinking: I'm reviewing yet another social polling site, and the world can't POSSIBLY need another polling service. I've already reviewed BetsGoWild, MegaBuzz, and Sodahead, so why bother with another site that seems to do the same thing without some of the glitz and glamour? After all, Twiigs doesn't have the rankings and profile pages and points rewards that the other sites have, and it just launched in April, leaving its beta status just barely [...]

A month ago, I took a look at PowerReviews, which at the time was still in private beta. Since then, they've made a lot of changes to the site, changed the name to Buzzillions , and done a soft beta launch, with the big push coming next Tuesday.
In an email to private beta users, Jim Morris, VP of Customer Experience explained many of the changes:

BetsGoWild is the latest entrant in the social polling arena, blending user-created polls with a Vegas-style payout. Much like social polling sites MegaBuzz and Sodahead.com (which we recently reviewed), BetsGoWild allows users to create “bets” based on any topic they choose, ranging from current events items such as the outcome of sporting events to personal items, such as betting whether a pair of users can quit smoking in a month.
