MyBlogLog Manages to Make Its Interface More Difficult
by
on March 02, 2008

Recently MyBlogLog, a popular blog community and blog sharing site, went through some changes. It was acquired by Yahoo a while back, a change that was met with aggravation by many users who didn't want to a) combine their Yahoo personal account with their MyBlogLog account or b) be forced to create a second Yahoo account to handle the issue of privacy. Now MyBlogLog has eroded user privacy and usability yet again with its “New With Me” feature. |

If some of the latest funding news is any indication, widgets are the newest must-have for every content-driven site as well as Web 2.0 apps. Widgetbox allows users to create their own widgets, which can then be used on blogs and other web pages for everything from highlighting the RSS feed of another blog to running games in a sidebar. |

by

Sometimes I'm a little slow at catching on with new things. It took an interesting new look to Ross Mayfield's blog to get me to notice Dandelife, but I may have gotten hooked on this whole lifecasting thing. I was fortunate enough to spend some time IMing with Dandelife CEO Kelly Abbott about his vision for Dandelife as well as getting a bit of a newcomer's walk-through. |

Does Anyone Like MyBlogLog’s Community Messaging Tool?
by
on July 04, 2007

If you have been using MyBlogLog, then chances are that you know about the recent changes that have been implemented on the service, particularly the new community messaging feature. I have yet to see any positive responses to this new feature, and believe me, I have looked. In fact, several bloggers [...] |
