March 11, 2007 - Profy got a rare opportunity today to talk with Jimmy Wales, founder of Wikipedia, Wikimedia (non-profit foundation), Co-Founder of Wikia Inc., and more recently innovator of Wikia-Search which we have covered on other occasions.

Web2.0Corp's search engine ByIndia.com is continuing its new makeover. The site is about to launch India's largest Internet sweepstakes worth US$5 million dollars.  Even the site's logo, which has been the same since its launch, is being updated to reflect the site's Web 2.0 character.

I just finished an article at Yahoo! News by Michael Liedtke of AP. The article describes a new search engine designed to appeal to aging baby boomers. Cranky.com processes search requests from the point of view of older users. Basically, the new search engine provides fewer results so that older users will not be overwhelmed with all the data.
