Today’s announcement is the product code-named “Morro”, security software targeted at end users of Windows operating systems. The anti-malware product will be available as a free download for all users of Windows XP, Windows Vista and upcoming Windows 7. |

I was under impressed with Microsoft's Live.com Live Search page when it first came out, and have largely ignored it since. When a few of the people I follow on Twitter gave the new feature release today bad one line Twitter reviews, I felt compelled to revisit it and see what they were bothered about. |

Though not quite of the same vein as an earlier post on Nimbuzz, I stumbled across an example of a company looking to bring Mac integration to its product, which contrasts the rather limited nature of the Nimbuzz social platform . ShowMyPC, classically known as Windows-specific software, has just been updated to allow users of Apple's popular operating system OS X to use the program as well, according to PR Web . |

It now looks like the Accessibility Interoperability Alliance (AIA) now has its first “project” to jump start the intentions of the newly created organization. Formed just last December, the engineering working group consists of a coalition of information and assistive technology companies (Microsoft, Adobe, HP, Novell, and GW Micro among others) with a goal of creating a set of standards to make it easier for developers to create accessible software, hardware and web products. |

I finally decided to jump on the Vista “hate” bandwagon, so here goes: “I freaking hate Vista!” I know I am not alone in the world because I hear everyone complaining about the same things I do. Up until this point Google Gadgets, the widgets or small applications that run in Google Desktop, were only available for versions of the Windows operating system. Although Mac OS X user have the Dashboard feature complete with a wide variety of downloadable widgets, Google's directory of more than 27,000 gadgets dwarfs the seemingly sparse collection of just over 3300 widgets in the Dashboard widget directory. |
